This is THE book on Ayahuasca (Yage). Original hard cover, first edition (only 5000 printed) so a real collectors item written by Jonathan Ott, 127 pages.
Ayahuasca Analogues is the standard book on Ayahuasca. It starts with an essay on the history of Ayahuasca and the importance of ethobotanicals for modern society ("entheogenic reformation"). It describes the herbs used in Ayahuasca and possible alternatives that can be found in more northern countries.
The reader will find no colorful descriptions of ayahuasca visions in this book, but rather, exact dosage levels, timing of effects and other such technical information. The book describes 4000 possible combinations of plants which can yeild entheogenic potions like ayahuasca. This includes rarities as Peyohuasca (the combination of mescaline and harmaline) or Pharmahuasca (combination of plants and pills).
This book is not in print anymore and therefor hard to find. We have some original copies of the first edition, published in 1994. Only the first 5000 copies of this book where published with a hard cover. So, a real collectors item.
'Ayahusca Analogues, pangean entheogens' is written by Jonathan Ott, 128 pages. Hard cover from the first edition, printed in March 1994.
